Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It...

The (Cyber) Bag of Weasels

bread and puppet

"About as much fun as a bag of weasels"...when I first saw this Irish adage, it made me think of the life of a writer: sometimes perilous, sometimes painful, certainly interesting. My paper journal has always been called "The Bag of Weasels." This is the Bag of Weasels' online home.

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It...

a friend you haven't met
...is to take on this wicked meme that arandil13 unleashed upon the world. Somehow, when I think of that, I get this image of pregnant Arandil clicking "POST" and cackling madly while a volcano erupts in the background and nine nazgul gallop out from her office....

The point of the meme:

YOU fill in the blanks about ME even if you dont have any idea what they are and send it back to ME. But first post a blank one out to all your friends so they can return the favor to you. Be honest!

Where did we meet?

How long have you known me?

When is the last time that we saw/spoke to each other?

Do I smoke?

Do I drink?

When is my birthday?

What was your first impression of upon meeting me?

What’s one of my favorite things to do?

Am I funny?

What’s my favorite type of music?

What is my best quality?

Am I shy or outgoing?

Am I a rebel or do I follow the rules?

Do I have any special talents?

Would you consider me a friend/good friend?

What is a memory we have once had?

Have you ever hugged me?

How well do you know me?

What is my favorite food?

If there was one good nickname for me, what would it be?

What is my worst habit?

If you and I were stranded on a desert island, what one thing would I bring?

What is my favorite fandom?

Who are my favorite characters in that fandom?

What was the last thing I said to you?

Will you repost this so I can do it for you?
  • I was thinking about this because it was really bugging me, and I think we might have really started talking during insta-drabbling. I knew you, of course, from Henneth-Annun, but I remember really getting along with you in ID because you were funny...and pervy like me. ;)

That could be it, too! I knew one of us would remember! ;-)

But if you do want to read it, I'll happily send it to you. Or the revised version will be posted soon in places other than my LJ, so you can keep up with the weekly postings, if you prefer. But please don't feel obligated. It is really loooong.

I'd love to read it! Hard copy seems to be the only way I get to read anything at the moment. I've really been wanting to read this fic, and I keep getting distracted when I actually remember I want to read it. Uhhh... yeah. Anyhow, I would definitely love to read it, and I don't care about the length... I've read Melanie Rawn, and her *smallest* book was 500-600 pages long...

Yes! We're going to scare all the hiphop skating kids! >:^))

And blow their socks off... I'm one of them speed skaters!! >;-)

Actually, I'm sure that if I asked my teacher really nicely, she'd let you skate with us when we have the rink for club sessions. Then there's only a dozen or so people there and you don't have to put up with the rink's horrible music.

Oh COOL! Thank you! If I'm quiet and watch really closely, I might even learn a few things, too! And NOT fall down go boom... ;-)

Close! I bite the skin around my nails when I'm stressed. During my most stressful days of college, I would have sores on almost all of my fingers. (Ick!) It's not so bad now. I can't bite the nails themselves because they're really hard and chip my teeth. o.O

Wow. Ouch is right! I don't quite know how exactly I handle extreme stress (probably sleep), but I do know that I start getting jittery and my back takes the brunt of it. My back will hurt for days or even weeks. And no, a chiropractor is absolutely no help at all...

Lol! I actually know exactly what you mean. :) So by "hard copy," do you mean email attachment or the thing printed on paper?

I'm not very fast, meself. Although I can hold me own if my sole purpose is to skate fast...but I'm always getting yelled at by my instructor: "Dawn! Unleash the monster within!" It seems the monster is a scaredy cat. ;)

:^D But fall down go boom is part of it! (Says the one who does it rarely; see early comment about scaredy monster. :^P)

My husband is the same way, except with his neck. I can actually feel it crackling and popping when I try to massage it back into shape. Ick. It's improved since he started playing hockey, though. Maybe that'll work for you?

(Wholly kidding! *is now giggling at image of Isil in full hockey gear checking Teh Husband into the boards*
