Medium Dawn Felagund of the Fountain

The (Cyber) Bag of Weasels

bread and puppet

"About as much fun as a bag of weasels"...when I first saw this Irish adage, it made me think of the life of a writer: sometimes perilous, sometimes painful, certainly interesting. My paper journal has always been called "The Bag of Weasels." This is the Bag of Weasels' online home.

I mentioned in an earlier post that Bobby is starting a graduate program in medieval history. As such, he is collecting some of his thoughts, ideas, and notes in his journal.

On the advice of his paranoid Internet-savvy wife, he is friend-locking all of these posts.

However, he does want some thoughts from and discussions with other people who have an interest in history and/or the Middle Ages. And since I know that some of Ye Felagund Flist fit that criteria, I thought I'd make an informal introduction.

Flist ... greenknight33
greenknight33 ... flist.

So feel free to friend him if you'd be interested in these posts. (I will also remind him to enable his friend notifications. So if you don't get re-friended in a couple of days, it is because Bobby isn't quite LJ-savvy yet, not that he's being standoffish. He's actually much nicer than me. >;^)))

And his introductory (non-flocked) post about why he chose medieval history can be found here.

  • *waves at Boby* I dropped a comment :)
  • Friended Bobby. Would very much like to follow his posts. (I gave him some reasons in my comment on his thread, but tactfully left out the part about him having Fingon's blue eyes.)
  • The Medieval history teacher from the south appreciates the opportunity very much. I friended Bobby (hope I did it correctly)
    • Yep, I saw you on his flist! After dinner, I will be helping him to set up friend notifications and return the favors. :)
  • I'll friend. :) I mean, due to what I study I guess I know at least a bit about medieval history, society, and... well, let me think... eh, art! (Now what a surprise. ;-P) So maybe I can contribute a little to the discussion. :-D
    • Yay! Bobby's thrilled at how many people are interested in what he's writing about. And I've always told him how many history geeks I have on my flist; hopefully, he believes me now. ;)
