Holiday Card Round-Up!

The (Cyber) Bag of Weasels

bread and puppet

"About as much fun as a bag of weasels"...when I first saw this Irish adage, it made me think of the life of a writer: sometimes perilous, sometimes painful, certainly interesting. My paper journal has always been called "The Bag of Weasels." This is the Bag of Weasels' online home.

Holiday Card Round-Up!

a friend you haven't met
This year, I have hand-painted a quasi-illumination for Bobby's and my holiday card, and I would love to send some to my online friends! If you would like a card, please comment here (and don't forget to include the name you'd like me to address it to, else you'll end up with a card addressed to your screen name! ;) Comments are screened, but if you'd like to contact me personally, please email me at DawnFelagund@gmail.com.

Likewise, if you'd be more comfortable receiving your card by email, that's fine too; the artwork will be digitally scanned so that I can print them, so it's not a problem for me to put together a digital card identical to those going out in the mail.

One last note: I lost the majority of my addresses when Comcast deleted my old account. Unless you've sent me your address since I moved (i.e., since July), then I do not have it. If you want a card, please send it to me again.

And if we've already exchanged addresses for cards, then you don't need to comment here as well.

Happy holidays, everyone! :)
  • Yay, holiday cards! ^^ I'd love one, if it isn't troublesome to send it by email? (And I suppose I'm too late for this, but I'd really like a holiday gift fic... *shuffles*)
  • You're not too late at all! Especially since you likely would have gotten one anyway. ;) But if you have any specific requests to add to my gift fic entry, then I would really appreciate it; it is much easier for me to write twenty stories off of twenty challenges than to have to think for every one, "What would so-and-so like?" I know that sounds terribly lazy of me ... but then, I am redeemed by the sheer number that I manage to write each year, I hope. ;)

Also, I will send the card by email. :)
  • ... and in my usual fashion of scatterbrainedness, I forgot to mention in my request that I'd like something about Curufin and Finwe. T_T;; Thank you so much! (For putting up with silly old me, no less..)
    • It is not a chore, m'dear. :)

I've added your request to the Uber Request Document of Justice. ;) And I must say that that's an interesting prompt--two characters I don't often see together in any significant way--and I look forward to writing it!
